지난 3월 5일 ‘소년24 SEMI FINAL’을 통해 탄생한 소년24 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)이 2017년 4월 11일, 싱글 앨범 ‘뺏겠어’를 선보이며 본격적인 활동의 시작을 알린다.
소년24의 첫 번째 활동팀 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)은 김성현, 김용현, 박도하, 오진석, 유영두, 정연태, 한현욱, 황인호 총 8인의 멤버로 구성되어 있으며, 싱글 앨범 발매와 동시에 음악 방송 및 KCON 2017 출연 등 소년24를 대표해 국내외로 활발한 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.
지난 해 9월부터 소년24 라이브 공연을 통해 수많은 무대 경험을 쌓은 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)이 이번 싱글 앨범 타이틀곡 ‘뺏겠어’를 통해 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)만의 색깔을 만들어냈다.
이번 싱글 앨범의 타이틀곡 ‘뺏겠어’는 중독성 강한 후렴구와 세련된 멜로디가 돋보이는 뭄바톤 장르의 곡으로 사랑하는 여자를 지켜보며 가슴 아파하는 남자의 모습을 애절하지만 조금은 직설적으로 표현해냈으며, 사랑 때문에 힘들어하는 그녀의 마음을 뺏겠다는 감정을 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK) 멤버 각각의 매력으로 그려냈다.
또한 씨스타, AOA, 몬스타엑스 등 수많은 K-POP 아티스트들의 히트곡에 참여한 실력파 프로듀서 ‘별들의 전쟁’과 ‘아테나’가 곡 작업에 참여해 앨범의 전체적인 완성도를 높였으며, 사랑하는 여자를 향한 간절한 마음을 툭툭 내뱉듯 지나가는 멜로디 라인과 애절한 가사로 표현해 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)의 보컬과 랩을 한층 더 돋보이게 한다.
특히 신화, 빅스 등 국내 최고 퍼포먼스 그룹의 안무를 탄생시킨 퍼포먼스 디렉터 최영준 단장이 타이틀곡 ‘뺏겠어’ 안무에 참여해 사랑하는 그녀를 뺏고 싶은 애절한 마음을 한층 극대화했으며, 사랑하는 그녀를 향한 감정을 뒷걸음치거나 눈을 가리는 사실적인 안무로 표현해 남자의 복잡한 감정을 고스란히 담아냈으며, 상처 입은 그녀를 위로하듯 서로를 감싸 안는 포인트 안무까지 더해져 강렬한 인상을 준다.
뿐만 아니라, 이번 타이틀 곡의 뮤직비디오는 신화, 소녀시대, EXO 등 국내 최정상 그룹의 뮤직비디오를 작업했던 쟈니브로스의 홍원기 감독이 연출을 맡았으며 그녀를 뺏겠다는 메시지가 담긴 스토리와 사랑하는 여자를 향한 남자의 절제된 감정 표현이 돋보이는 감각적인 안무가 쉴 틈 없이 교차되면서 다이내믹한 느낌을 자아내 눈길을 끈다.
또, 이번 앨범에는 그 동안 소년24 라이브 공연에서만 선보였던 ‘BOOM’과 ‘Candy Shop’을 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)의 버전으로 재해석해 공개할 예정이며, 타이틀곡 ‘뺏겠어’를 포함한 총 3곡이 수록되어 있어 다양한 음악 장르로 담아낸 유닛 블랙(UNIT BLACK)만의 음악을 만나볼 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
